4th Class investigated how to grow bean sprouts. They place a tablespoon of mung beans into a jar and covered the beans with water. We had to keep a watchful eye over the beans to make sure they didn't have too much water or too little water. They started off very well but unfortunately we didn't get our desired result-which is all part of being a scientist too. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, we have to keep windows open at all times so as a result, this affected the growth of the bean sprouts as they desire warmer temperatures.
4th Class looked at using cuttings from rubber plants to investigate what plants need in order to grow. After cutting the plant, they kept it in water near sunlight to see if a root would grow. When this happened they replanted it in a pot with earth and continued to water it.
2nd Class investigated what plants need in order to grow. They grew their own Nasturtiums.
