Marbling After learning about different woodland creatures in SESE, 4th class used them as inspiration. They completed an art lesson looking at marbling, using marbling ink in water and look at the science behind it-the paints float on the water as they are less dense that the water. The children created their own designs. Then, they drew their own woodland silhouette and attached it on to marbling art piece. They were all very impressed with how their art turned out.
Melting Chocolate-Which is best???
Ms. Ryan’s 3rd Class completed an experiment on Melting Chocolate. The experiment was to see which chocolate would melt faster-Dark, Milk or White chocolate! The chocolate of course had to be tasted afterwards.
What Material is Waterproof? While learning about The Antarctic 1st Class investigated what materials were waterproof and which ones weren't. This helped them to figure out what type of materials someone would use in the Antarctic.
